When Ikebana International, St. Louis Chapter #3 reached its 60th anniversary, the occasion was marked with a party. (Click on "Our History" page for more information on the founding of St. Louis Chapter #3.)

 

    Families, friends and the public at large were invited to help us celebrate our anniversary. Our special guest, the Consul General of Japan presented the chapter with a special proclamation.

   The public was invited to see Prof. Mitchell work as she created a variety of  Ikenobo Ikebana arrangements, and to view a special exhibit of members' arrangements. Some of those arrangements by members are shown here.

 

A light lunch prepared by members was served.
